Ben Millar, our founder and ever dedicated leader, is a proud Washington native and WWU alumni. He first started Common Cents as a way to support his college life offering his services as a painter. After graduating, becoming a family man, and receiving feedback from the community Ben realized that he wanted to continue his business.

With a lot of honest and reliable hard work, Ben expanded the services and skills our company could offer.  Ben has made strides to improve our company by becoming a general contractor in 2010 and taking on more technical projects to diversify his professional profile. There is not much Common Cents cannot do! Heck, Ben is even becoming a realtor!

Ben prides himself on the common sense principles of being honest and open with his prospective and current customers, being an effective communicator with his clients and providing free estimates for any of your home improvement needs.  Common Cents has blossomed from a way to make beer money to a stable income that supports his family and the families of his highly skilled employees.
